PROFILE
Daniel has experience of a diverse range of employment law issues, both from his time as a pupil to Paul Gilroy QC in 2004/2005 and in independent practice. His first years of practice have seen him consistently cited within legal directories as a leading junior in employment law. His practice has developed into areas of increasing complexity and value. He is now regularly instructed on multi-day litigation in the Employment Tribunal, County Court and High Court, in addition to appeals to the superior courts.

Daniel has developed a particular interest in:

• complex discrimination of all forms, including civil actions outside the field of employment;
• the contract of employment as a source of rights and obligations;
• industrial relations and collective employment rights;
• transfers of undertakings;
• restrictive covenants and the protection of confidential information; and
• public interest disclosures and the protection from detrimental treatment.

Daniel appreciates that a successful outcome is usually due in no small part to hard work and a  willingness and ability to work as part of a team with professional and lay clients. He provides a focused yet thorough approach whilst maintaining a down to earth and professional service.
