AREAS OF PRACTICE
Having practised in Manchester for over twenty years, Paul McDonald was pleased to be invited to join 9 St John Street's Criminal Team in the summer of 2001. Now practising exclusively in criminal law, though with a wide interest in many fi elds, he has considerable experience at all levels of criminal work both at first instance and on appeal.
His experience includes the full use of child video-link facilities at trial and the defence of serious sexual offences and other serious crime of all types. He has worked with and against Leaders and has led more junior members of the Bar in trial work.
In the course of his practice, Mr McDonald has defended cases in courts from Carlisle to Plymouth and Canterbury and thoroughly enjoys the challenge of difficult and unusual cases. As such, he is keen to provide a comprehensive service for his clients at all levels and is prepared to conduct conferences at solicitors' offices in Manchester or convenient locations elsewhere when required.
Fully computer literate, Mr McDonald is willing to accept instructions and tender advice by e-mail or computer disk.
Married with teenage children, Mr McDonald has a sound knowledge of all aspects of contemporary life and aims to provide a practical and sound legal service to his clients.
