Following the completion of a BA Honours Degree in Sport Studies and a subsequent 11 Month round the world trip I joined 9 St John Street in September 2007 as an Office Assistant. I progressed from this position after 6 weeks to join the Civil Clerking team as a Civil Clerk. I clerk all the members of the Civil Law Team and as well as assisting in the day to day running of their working diary I am able to recommend appropriate Counsel including providing competitive fee quotes.

In September 2010 I took on the added responsibility of clerking the Family Team. My duties include the management of the Family Law team diary, recommending suitable counsel on a case by case basis and the marketing of the team.

I was instrumental in setting up the Travel Law Team within chambers following the increased demand for local counsel within this area and a paucity of specialists outside of London. I am the main point of contact in regards to this niche area of law and I am able to offer Counsel with the requisite experience and knowledge to cover the varying degrees of complexity involved in each case. We are also able to offer bespoke seminars both within Chambers or at the offices of clients.

In November 2011, following a year of working outside operating hours, I completed a BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration passing with a mark of Distinction.

Outside of work I enjoy playing Sunday league football, fairweather golf and following Man Utd. I'm also a keen traveller and I'm always looking forward to the next opportunity to explore new places.
