Clinical Negligence

The Clinical Negligence group at 9 St John Street offers a full spectrum of specialised service at all levels of seniority. We act for both Claimants and Defendants in claims arising out of medical, dental and cosmetic treatment along with other related areas. Members of the team also regularly act in related inquests and in GMC hearings.

The group has the benefit of including a practicing doctor and a very wide range of expertise and experience. Members are happy to consider instruction on a conditional fee basis and to provide training seminars if required. Please contact one of the personal injury clerks who will be able to assist further.

Chambers appears in the current edition of Chambers & Partners’ Directory in the top rank of personal injury sets on the Northern Circuit. It offers a full range of practitioners in the field from Silks to Juniors and members have developed particular subspecialisms including catastrophic injury work, industrial disease claims, and low impact and fraudulent road traffic claims.

Members accept instructions from Claimants and Defendants alike and act for Trade Unions, insurers, public bodies and private clients. Members will act on a conditional fee basis and are prepared to accept instruction by direct access in appropriate cases. Several members of Chambers are nominated insurers panel members. The Group is not merely regional but nationally regarded and members conduct cases throughout England and Wales.

The personal injury group is committed to providing a service of the highest quality and has agreed written service standards with several Solicitors. All members of the group will accept instructions and return papers by e-mail.
