Karim is a highly experienced and accomplished trial advocate who has a busy and well-established personal injury practice, including considerable expertise in claims against local authorities as highway authority, landlord or occupier of premises. His personal injury practice also encompasses areas such as employer's liability (accidents at work and stress claims), fatal accidents (claims on behalf of the estate and dependants), road traffic accidents (including claims against the Motor Insurers' Bureau), claims involving allegations of fraud (such as staged accidents, bogus passenger claims and low velocity impact arguments), accidents at work, product liability and consumer protection, injuries of the utmost severity and solicitor's negligence matters, particularly those arising out of personal injury claims.

Karim has a keen interest in psychiatric and neurological damage and has cross-examined medical experts in many personal injury cases.

In addition, Karim continues to pursue a Landlord & Tenant/Housing practice which includes possession proceedings, Anti-Social Behaviour Orders, disrepair including Environmental Protection Act proceedings, unlawful eviction, disability discrimination, harassment and racial harassment, stalking/malicious communications, housing benefit and homelessness, including proceedings under the Housing Act 1996/Homelessness Act 2002.
