Arbitration in family law

Arbitration is the cost-effective binding solution to court waiting lists and the team at 9 can help.

We are lucky to have Jo Barnett available to sit as an arbitrator; Jo is a Tier 1 recommended barrister who can adjudicate in children and financial relief applications; she also represents parties in arbitrations.
Sarah Kilvington, another Tier 1 recommended member of the team has just concluded an arbitration where the mother’s application to re-locate was successfully resisted.

Other members of the team cover this work in both children and financial relief matters at all levels of complexity.

Chambers regularly hosts arbitrations and can assist with arrangements for recording the proceedings. We are shortly moving premises to new well-equipped offices which are perfectly set up to provide conference and hearing rooms.

If you would like to discuss this further, please contact our senior clerk Ped McKinstry.
