Paul Gilroy QC continues run of high profile football cases

It has been announced that former Ipswich Town Manager Jim Magilton has reached settlement with the Club in relation to his claim of wrongful dismissal following his sacking in April 2009. Paul Gilroy QC successfully represented the Manager. Paul Gilroy's involvement in the Magilton case comes on the back of a series of high profile football cases he has conducted. Since the beginning of the year, he has acted for Roy Hodgson, Roberto Di Matteo and Aidy Boothroyd in respect of their dismissals by Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City respectively, and is representing Martin O'Neill in his forthcoming claim before the FA Premier League Arbitration Tribunal against Aston Villa.
