Tom Gilbart has successfully defended a police officer in Police Misconduct Proceedings

Having cross-examined the witnesses called by the police authority, Tom made a successful submission of no case which resulted in the disputed charges being dismissed at the conclusion of the police authority’s case.

In respect of the remaining allegations (which had been admitted) the Panel were persuaded that the matters were not discreditable and did not amount to gross misconduct.

Tom was instructed in this case by JMW Solicitors and regularly conducts regulatory and professional disciplinary work.
