Sarah Kilvington achieved significant findings of controlling and coercive behaviour in a hearing which concluded last week

Sarah Kilvington achieved significant findings of controlling and coercive behaviour in a 4 day hearing which concluded last week. The judge found that the mother, a previously confident professional, had been left “a shadow of a person; like a ghost” by the respondent father’s behaviour towards her in all aspects of her life. Solicitors kindly passed on the client’s written thanks; she described Sarah as an “absolute inspiration to watch at work”.

Sarah and Emily Landale have arranged to deliver a remote seminar on controlling and coercive behaviour cases, which will focus on: what such behaviour entails, an overview of the relevant law and some tips about how to plead these often complex cases, involving a multiplicity of behaviours and how to cross-examine alleged perpetrators.

The webinar will take place Thursday 28th September 2023 at 5:00pm. To book your place, please email family@9sjs.com.
