Lukhvinder Kaur

Prior to joining Chambers in Manchester, Lukhvinder practiced at Trinity Chambers in Essex, where she enjoyed a very successful family law practice.

Lukhvinder’s experience covers litigation relating to financial matters including all financial remedy hearings (FDA through to Final Hearing, and appeal if necessary), maintenance pending suit applications, Section 37 injunctions, variation and enforcement of financial orders and pension-sharing orders.

Lukhvinder’s experience in public law Children Act proceedings encompasses all care protocol hearings and she has represented and advised parents in cases involving issues of physical and sexual abuse and neglect. Her experience in private law Children Act proceedings includes mediation, directions appointments, and final hearings in residence and contact applications, as well as more complex issues such as contact with children resident outside of the jurisdiction and intractable contact disputes.

Lukhvinder has regularly appeared in the Family Proceedings Court, County Court and High Court. Her friendly yet professional and confident manner helps put anxious clients at ease.
