Nine Lives benefits from Mediation milestone!

Festive cheer was in full swing in Chambers when Richard Price donated £250 to our Nine Lives cause. Nine Lives is a unique and special feature of Chambers that reflects our proactive and compassionate collective spirit, supporting local charities including a long-standing partnership with Forever Manchester. Chambers member, and Head of Chambers’ Mediation group, Richard Price donated the money to mark reaching the milestone of conducting his 250th mediation. It was also a time of personal pride for Richard who has achieved a national ranking as a mediator in the prestigious Legal 500 for the first time.

Richard commented ‘’I hung up my wig and gown at the end of 2021 to focus solely on my mediation practice. I have conducted over 60 mediations in 2022, and across the Mediation group we are seeing an upturn in the demand for mediations, with the diary already filling up for the first quarter of 2023. Mediation is a growing part of the Nine St John Street’s offering, and I would like to thank everybody who has supported me by putting me forward for mediations, and in encouraging me to take the step to go full time. I look forward to working with you in 2023 and beyond.’

Richard is pictured handing over the cheque for £250 with Jean Mills of Forever Manchester.
