Lena Amartey discusses outreach and the Bar Council's Pupillage Fair

Lena Amartey, who is also the EDSM Officer for the Northern Circuit, has featured on the Bar Council's Blog.

She discusses the importance of outreach to the profession and the Bar Council's Pupillage Fair.

Lena attended last years' Virtual Pupillage Fair, and in the Blog she talks about the impact these events have on improving diversity at the Bar.

William Hamilton and Beth Caunce review this Supreme Court decision which concerns the correct approach to "uncontroverted" expert evidence, here in the context of a travel sickness claim, but with broader ramifications regarding the procedural fairness of refraining from cross-examining an expert or relying on one’s own expert and waiting instead to criticise that expert’s opinion in closing submissions.
