Nine Lives 5-A-Side Tournament

The first Nine Lives 5-A-Side Football Tournament took place on Sunday 6 July 2008. Eighteen teams took part and raised £600 for the Nine Lives Fund.  The final was between Fentons and Brabners Chaffe Street, with Brabners eventually  winning 2-1. Congratulations to them and a big thank you to all the teams for supporting the event.

Sarah Kilvington acted as a leading junior, leading Emily Landale for a local authority in a case which involved very serious multiple fractures to an immobile child, in which all other parties were represented by silk and senior juniors.

Suspended sentence for British Army Corporal following nightclub attack

Emma Clarke represented CH, a Corporal in the British Army, who pleaded guilty to strangulation and assault following an attack on two men in a nightclub, one of whom was left unconscious.
