Chris specialises in Personal Injury and Employment Tribunal work, and finds that these two areas of practice complement one another extremely well. He acts for both claimants and defendants/respondents. He is listed in the Legal 500 as a leading junior in the employment field and he is noted for his particular experience of document-heavy, multi-day cases.
He is an experienced trial advocate but also manages a very busy paper practice. Chris endeavours to provide a prompt turnaround of instructions and he is willing to work under the terms of a CFA in appropriate cases.
He enjoys his work.

It is most common for Mr Taft to undertake court work for a fixed fee or a brief fee plus additional refreshers. For advisory work (paperwork and conferences) it is most commonly charged at an hourly rate, although fixed fees are available. Conditional Fee Agreements and Damages Based Agreements will be considered in cases with favourable prospects of success. Mr Taft will typically return paperwork within 7-14 days, however professional commitments, complexity and volume of documentation can affect these approximate timescales, and more pressing deadlines can often be accommodated by agreement.
