Following 8 years working closely with the Family team at 9 St John Street I was appointed the title of Practice Manager, whilst maintaining my role as Diary Manager for the Employment & Commercial Teams.
Over the past few years I have overseen the growth of the Family Team as it has increased its market presence within the Northern Circuit. This work has led to the team gaining official recognition in Chambers & Partners this year being banded on the circuit for the first time.
Utilising a knowledgeable, honest and efficient approach to clerking along with the talent of Counsel already available within team we will continue to strengthen over the coming years.
Responsible for the marketing of the team I am available to arrange bespoke seminars covering a wide range of topics and also social events for clients on a large or small scale.
I was also instrumental in setting up the Travel Law Team within chambers following the increased demand for local counsel within this area and a paucity of specialists outside of London.
In November 2011, following a year of working outside operating hours, I completed a BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration passing with a mark of Distinction.
