Bar Council's business development mission to New York

Gerard McDermott QC and Zimran Samuel will form part of the Bar Council's business development mission to New York from 15-19 April 2012.

This is the first bespoke visit of the Bar Council to the US legal market and it will coincide with the American Bar Association ("ABA") Section of International Law ("SIL") Spring Conference in New York City. The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Bar Council Michael Todd QC, will be holding talks with the New York State Bar as well as the United Nations (Office of Legal Affairs).

Gerard is Chairman of the Northern Circuit's International Committee. He has a growing international practice and has been admitted as Attorney-at-Law in New York for over 20 years.
