Chambers Wintery Walk 2022

Chambers arranged a "Wintery Walk" on Sunday 27 November 2022 around Tegg’s Nose Country Park.  The walk was well supported by members, staff, partners, family, friends and a few “four legged” friends too.

Before setting off on the 4km walk around the country park, everyone enjoyed a warm cup of Glühwein and a mince pie - and the children "polished off" the chocolate cookies before racing off down Saddlers Way. There was a short break at Teggsnose reservoir to regroup before heading up the 1274ft ascent to the summit to enjoy the splendid view across the Cheshire hills. Back in the car park to it was a nice opportunity to raise a toast to a former member of Chambers Nicola Gatto who sadly recently passed away following a short illness and will be missed by everyone in Chambers.

The walk was arranged to support the Anna Hamilton fund-raising cause – the Oncology Day Case Unit at the Children’s Hospital. Please feel free to support the charity, Anna is the young daughter of a member of Chambers and has been bravely undergoing cancer treatment for almost two years.
