District Judge Appointment: Joanne Woodward

The Queen has appointed Joanne Claire Woodward to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester County and Family Court with effect from 3 April 2018.

Joanne Claire Woodward, was called to the Bar (G) in 1989. She was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the Employment Tribunal in 2005 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
