James Hurd accepts a formal appointment from the Bar Standards Board

Chambers are delighted to announce James Hurd has accepted a formal appointment from the Bar Standards Board to become a member of the Independent Decision-Making Body. Tony Morrissey the Director of Clerking  said “I am delighted for James who has an excellent understanding of disciplinary and regulatory law and this is highlighted by the fact James also sits as a Legal Assessor for the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and as a Legal Advisor to Social Work England”

New rule update: Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024, SI 2024/1155

From 6th January 2025 the Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024, SI 2024/1155 will come into effect. This replaces the rules of procedure already contained in Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunal (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) regulations 2013.
