New Employment Insights Video – Holidays and Furlough Part 2

Employment Insights is a series of short Q&A videos aimed at providing practical advice and guidance to workers, employees and employers who are concerned about employment rights and employment law developments during the coronavirus outbreak.

In a two part special, Rebecca Eeley and Amy Smith tackle the interaction between furlough and holidays.

Part Two will address two further frequent questions:

  • Can employers require an employee to take annual leave whilst furloughed? Does this only apply to the statutory element?
  • At what rate would holiday be paid to employees under furlough?

You can review Rebecca and Amy's profiles on our Employment Page. The Employment Clerks are all working remotely and can be contacted by email or telephone on 0161 955 5123.

To submit a question for discussion please send an email to employmentinsights@9sjs.com. To see more of the Employment Insights series click here.
