Nicholas Clarke KC led Howard Bernstein in defending a man charged with murdering his 2 month old baby

Numerous experts (Paediatric Pathologists, Neuroradiologists, Histopathologists, Neuropathologists, Ophthalmologists etc) on both sides dealt with the cause of death.

Psychiatrists, psychologists and an intermediary reported on his mental health, level of intelligence and ability to communicate.

The crown belatedly accepted that proving the necessary intent for murder might be problematic and so accepted a plea to manslaughter.
