Paul Gilroy KC concludes Martin O’Neill’s claim against Aston Villa

Aston Villa and Martin O’Neill have finalised all issues in relation to his departure from the club in August 2010.

The matter was placed before the FA Premier League Managers’ Arbitration Tribunal, but was resolved on the fourth day of a hearing which was scheduled to run for six days.

Martin O’Neill’s legal team was led by Paul Gilroy KC, who also represented Alan Curbishley in his successful claim against West Ham before the same Tribunal. Since the beginning of the 2010/11 football season Paul Gilroy KC has acted for Ray Wilkins, Chris Hughton, Roy Hodgson, Roberto Di Matteo and Aidy Boothroyd in respect of their dismissals by Chelsea, Newcastle United, Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City respectively.
