Tom Gilbart acts for care home as staff cleared of blame by coroner following violent attack and death of resident

NURSING staff have been cleared of any blame after a grandmother died 13 days after being savagely battered by a fellow resident in a care home.

Maureen Shone, aged 72, had been found lying on the floor of her bedroom following the attack by a fellow patient at Selwyn House, in Trentham.
