9 St John Street delighted to welcome four New Tenants to the Family Team

March has been a busy period for the Family team at Nine St John Street who continue to strengthen their ranks with the addition of four new experienced members during, namely;

Sarah Kilvington - (Year of Call 1999)

Kalsoom Maqsood - (Year of Call – 1999)

Lukhvinder Kaur - (Year of Call – 2000)

Kate Henthorn - (Year of Call – 2005)

All are experienced Counsel with thriving Family Practices covering a broad spectrum of work.

Their addition to the team will enable Nine St John Street to provide an expanded service to clients whilst maintaining the core beliefs of the team.

We are also pleased to announce that our pupil Kate Pye-Jones is now in her second sixth of her pupillage and is already accepting instructions on all areas Family law.

In Addison & Anor -v- Niaz [2024] EWHC 3124 (Fam), the High Court made a costs order against a solicitor who was the subject of a summons to attend court for cross-examination under s.122 Senior Courts Act 1981.

The Government of Guernsey has appointed Amy Rollings as a Chair of the Employment and Discrimination Tribunal
