District Judge Appointment: Entwistle

The Queen has appointed Matthew James Entwistle to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Manchester County and Family Court with effect from 30 April 2018.

Matthew James Entwistle will be known as District Judge Entwistle. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 2000 and called to the Bar (L) in 2011. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.
