Victoria Rigby, Elizabeth Murray and Phil Barnes present to over 115 delegates at their Dog Biting Claims Seminar

Victoria Rigby, Elizabeth Murray and Phil Barnes - along with Dr Candy d'Sa, Consultant and Expert Witness in Animal Behaviour - delivered their seminar on Dog Biting Claims to over 115 people.

The seminar explored the issues surrounding the Animals Act in the context of dog bites and attacks, including dog biting claims arising in the workplace.

William Hamilton and Beth Caunce review this Supreme Court decision which concerns the correct approach to "uncontroverted" expert evidence, here in the context of a travel sickness claim, but with broader ramifications regarding the procedural fairness of refraining from cross-examining an expert or relying on one’s own expert and waiting instead to criticise that expert’s opinion in closing submissions.
